Join the AFA

We invite you to join the American Forensic Association. Our members include researchers in argumentation theory, practice and criticism from throughout the world; teachers of public speaking, critical thinking, performance studies, and debate from high schools and colleges; coaches of debate and individual programs at the high school and college level; as well are practioners including lawyers, journalists, and government officials. Members include all who are committed to the use of reasoned discourse and verbal advocacy to promote democratic empowerment. We are the professional organization for researchers, teachers, and practitioners of argumentation and public advocacy.
