NCA/AFA Summer Argumentation Conference 
New Alta Conference Webpage

Held biennially in Alta, Utah, in the mountains near Salt Lake City and cosponsored with the National Communication Association and the University of Utah, this conference is a premier venue for argumentation research.  The conference is marked by its opportunity for extensive exchange among scholars working on common problems. The next Alta Conference is scheduled for the summer of 2007 with Scott Jacobs of the University of Arizona as Director.
